Regarding the Maverick festival we have had a HUGE number of bands, musicians and solo artists wishing to play one of the stages. I'm afraid we have had so many requests that as a two man operation here at Maverick, it has been impossible to reply to everyone individually. However, I can inform you that everyone who has contacted us regarding playing the festival, has been added to a list of which we and the Maverick festival team have been ploughing through to compile the acts for the 2008 festival (which is not as yet complete). If we don't get in touch we will be keeping your names on file for consideration of opportunities later in the year. Again I apologise for not getting back to everyone personally and hope you continue to enjoy Maverick Magazine... Hello everyone - we hope you’re well. We are a halesworth/yoxford based folk rock band called THE FOLK COLLECTIVE.. we have been together for quite a while now and have been playing the local festivals inc. suffolk folk festival 07, Cambridge folk festival, Sellidge world music festival, Gig in the park and more. I know its a late entry but if you did have a free slot for us to play, we would love to.
