THE MAVERICK FESTIVAL ANNOUNCEMENT…

The organisers of the Maverick Festival 2008 are pleased to announce that in spite of rumours to the contrary, the festival will go ahead as advertised.

We are delighted to assure everyone who has bought tickets or is considering buying tickets, that we will be presenting the same great bands, same great local food, drink and crafts in the same beautiful location. Ticket numbers are restricted, but that means shorter queues at the beer tent, more room at the camp site and a better chance than ever to get up close and personal with some of the best alt country/americana artists in the world.

We look forward to seeing you there!

I doubt that I can make it for the whole weekend, but would like to get there on the Saturday as I believe that is when ‘WINTER’ will be on stage. I have seen them a few times in the past and have passed on all the photo’s I take of them and would like to get some more. Are day tickets going to be available on the gate/door please and if so, how much.
Many thanks.
Doug.

Hi Alex, The weekend will start at 7.00pm on Friday night, but I can’t confirm who will be opening just yet. We should have more details for you soon. I will be making an announcement ASAP on the news section of the website as soon as I know the confirmed running order for the weekend. I look forward to seeing you there! Best wishes, Laura @ Maverick

A daily price would be nice to see? People will not spend £35.00 for just going on the Saturday and that’s the day most people including myself would like to go.
