I very much enjoyed the Maverick festival and hope it will be repeated next year. If so please make sure it doesn’t happen on the August Bank Holiday weekend as this already has a multitude of festivals and you can’t be at two places at once.

One suggestion for next year, if it does go ahead. I happened to be talking to Corinne West over the weekend after her fantastic gig in Torquay and she is scheduled to be doing Shrewsbury Festival over the August Bank Holiday next year. If Maverick was a week later she would probably still be in the country and I personally couldn’t think of anyone better as a guest.

Hi guys,

Wondered if you would be interested in writing an article about me! I’ve been creating CD design for some great folks in and around Leicester for some years now and could really do with the exposure..i also think it might make for good reading. I could contribute on the layout design as well if its easier. Please take a look at my work and see if anything catches your eye!

Kind Regards
Carl

Well now it’s nice to know you think the Patty Mitchell cd is wonderful, but what if we’d like to buy it?
Would you please give us some advise on how to obtain such nice music (for less than $75 for which it sells)?

Yours,
Peter

Dear Pete, I’m afraid I too have been unable to trace any other outlet for this CD. The only way to get hold of it would be to talk to Patty through myspace - her address is http://www.myspace.com/pattymitchellband. I’m sure she will have many copies available directly and will be able to sort payment and postage out with you. If not I can leave a message for Patty to get a hold of you. Please let me know at laurabethell@maverick-country.com and I’ll see what I can do in the meantime. Best wishes, Laura Bethell @ Maverick Magazine

Hello Martin, I’m so pleased you liked it and thankyou so much for getting in touch and saying so. A lot of the work we do at Maverick, is tracking down artists who need and deserve the support of the magazine, and Rosabella is most certainly one of these artists. She is a fantastic singer who deserves all the support we can offer her and we hope to continue to follow her progress. Thankyou again Martin - you’ve made my day! I’m so pleased you enjoyed the article and that it moved you enough to purchase the album - I hope others felt the same way too.
Warmest wishes, Laura Bethell @ Maverick Magazine
