MAVERICK GOES DIGITAL!

Maverick Magazine’s February 2009 edition will be available in digital format as well as the usual printed copy. Maverick has continued to grow over it’s six and a half years of monthly publication, and persistently grows still. However, we have always struggled to make the magazine readily available to those in America and over-seas, who have to pay an extortionate rate for postage and packaging, because it costs us an extreme amount. We have done all we can over the years to keep this cost down but to no avail. In digital format anyone can purchase a yearly subscription to Maverick Magazine for just £20.00. As soon as you’ve made your purchase you will be given a password and login and from there you can access your monthly issues. Greater still, we can offer anyone in the UK a digital and print subscription combined for just £50.00.

Starting with the February issue of 2009 we hope you all enjoy this wonderful addition to Maverick Magazine. Any comments or feedback you all have would certainly be appreciated. As soon as we have the February 2009 edition uploaded you’ll be the first to know!

does this mean I will no longer receive a copy of your magazine in the post? It has been a while since I received a newsletter from you but get the CD offers and gig guide to Maidestone. I have renewed my subscription to your magazine but if it only going to be available on internet I would request a refund as I do not like reading on the computer.

Dear Janet,

Thankyou for your note on the website. With regards to going digital this does not mean in any way that we will be getting rid of the print magazine. It is simply there to provide a cheaper and more accessible alternative for our readers overseas who currently have to pay a lot of postage and packaging costs per copy. In no way is the digital version there to replace the print version of Maverick Magazine - it just broadens Maverick’s readership and makes it more accessible.

I hope this clears up your concerns. I will make some adjustments to that announcement to resolve this issue - I don’t want others fearing the same thing.

Thanks again & we hope you continue to enjoy Maverick.

Best wishes, Laura @ Maverick
