This publication relies so heavily on the people who assist and support us year after year. It is in dedication to those individuals that we are still in publication today. Nine years after starting the magazine and Alan Cackett has now built a small team around him, and we even managed to last the recession (ongoing) without any major setbacks! Maverick's existence relies heavily on our subscribers - you are the people pushing us on, keeping the magazine ticking over month to month and maintaining the same quality of magazine since day one. Subscribers are very important to any magazine for one main reason - we can rely on you. Your money for a one year subscription is what pays the print bill. For every issue that's sold through the newsagents they take a cut. By subscribing you're guaranteeing our income and so to all of our subscribers we are forever grateful for your support.

Write For Us
We are always in search of new writers with their own material to bring to the magazine. Although we cannot pay for contributions right now we will do all we can to support you in other ways. If you're interested don't hesitate to get in touch!
Raise The Profile
Word of mouth is so very important. Telling a friend or family member about the magazine brings in new customers for us on a daily basis. So if you know someone or have anyone in mind who would be interested in Maverick please don't hesitate to let us know using the Contact Us link above. We also give free back issues to schools, colleges, universities, hospitals, doctors, dentists and hairdressers for the waiting rooms/ social rooms.
